I will have to get some new supplies expecially clay since mine has turned hard, wich is a pitty, but im visitung finland for the summer holydays and i wont have acsess to the internet only for limited periods of time. So i doubt it but does any one here live in finland and know where to get good clay?

Well, I tried to find some brands on .fi websites, but no luck. My guess would be that the easiest way should be checking the local stores.
Else, .fi is in europe, so ordering from countries in the EU should be no problem...

It is someone else going to Europe for alot of the summer, what have you all done with your lives? Although I will have interenet acsess, to keep you all and my friends in touch :)

well thanx for looking im leaving june 10th so ill see what i can get, the public libraries have free internet so ill see if i can post any links to anything i might make on the summer.

My not clay way, a guide on how I make my stopmotion peoples:

a)Grab a plastic cup and flip it upside down. Now cut that bottom part off a bit like erm atleast an inch down, maybe one quarter the way.

b) grab a plate and cut a circle that would fit nicely over the top of the cup (where you put the water), that part!

put the botttom part of the cup, that you cut off and put it ontop of the top part (wehere you put the plate peice over)...

Now you have a head, design it, styler it or whatever

Now you also have a body, it may look like a robot depending on what size/shape of glass you used. Now if it is not, do not do the next step

Okay so you have your robot, cut say 4 slits on it (on all the sides). Now if you have a glue bottle (white glue) put it in the seams, your hands will get dirty here, but we are men ;-)

Make it so the glue is not sticking on the outside, use your hand or something to smoothen it. So now thoe gapes are filled, this may take a half hour, because you have to hold the slits apart until glue drys!

SO now you have a descent body, I know not the greatest... Decorate it anywhich way you want.

Now here is the hardest part, the arms and legs.

Howerwide you want the legs, take that many pipecleaners, and bundle htem together, use tape or anything.

Take paper mache (dont know how to spell that) and cover the legs. Now do not put on too much, because the legs wont bend. DO the very same tings for arms, presto you are done.

Good decorating items:
-glitter (what G_F_D puts on his face)
-marker, to color
-cloth, to make clothes look more real
etc... those type of things.

Well, I tried my new cam but its not so good.
Too bad, I thought it would be a alternative to dragging my camcorder along, especialy when working with kids.
It has a real great adjustable foot (look at it! http://techsolo.de/p..m/tca_4810/index.php
), but otherwise, the quality is a bit bad. Even though it s a 800x600 cmos chip. Resolution wise, thats more then PAL/NTSC of a camcorder, but even if resizing to 640x480 the quality is still too poor, especialy when it comes to color/contrast.

Here what I tried with the cam: A small test of mario coming out of the gba. (larger: http://wap.cc/f/spriteinreal.gif ). with the camcorder this will be nice. I will have GBA and GB mario fight. Or something like that.
