NG Tattoo

Since I recently turned 18, I can finally get myself some ink and I figured of all things I want on my body for a lifetime, it's Newgrounds. No doubt this place has been the biggest creative influence in my life and a huge reason I'm headed off to college at Pratt Institute this August to study for a career in 2D animation. I couldn't be more grateful for how this community of creators has shaped me as a person and I never want to forget how important Newgrounds has been for me. So, I'm thinking a tattoo is in store.

But as much as I'd love a newgrounds tattoo, the questions "what of" and "where" still arise. I'm thinking something to do with the Tank Man and putting it somewhere on my right arm. Not quite sure yet, so I'm taking suggestions.

Help a brother out with any ideas you got.

Ayy gracias, I figured I'd do something​ small. Not really looking to get tatted up haha, way too indecisive for that. Probably gonna do a small tank man of sorts, maybe just the head?? Idk shit's hard to decide on.

Here's an idea, don't. I actually like tattoos, but don't get a Newgrounds tattoo. Unless your aim is to be a wizard, then getting a Newgrounds tattoo will contribute greatly, especially if you place it on the right spot.

For real tho, there's some mad negativity about this post. I get that a lot of you may just use the site as a place to chat when you're bored, but I'm serious when I say this is the place that got me into art and animation. NG ain't just a meme you guys and if you can't see it as anything but another website, maybe you missed the boat for inspiration. I'm literally headed towards a creative career and NG was the first step for me; the first step towards a life I'm passionate to live. So, call me a faggot if you want but at least I can draw a straight line.

i don't think you'll go through with it. you're just excited about being 18 and you love newgrounds. if you wanna show your love of newgrounds, i'd say just buy a shirt for now.

but, if you really want a tattoo you can be proud of, try and think of a tattoo you actually like, and then try making it about newgrounds. if you get tattoos of just random symbols, like an angry face or a little tank, they're just going to feel like stickers on your body, as apposed to an actual work of art. especially since i feel like it's hard to translate a lot of newgrounds' artists cartoony style into tattoos.

you could get something like a pin up of tank girl or a cool illustration of dad. a newgrounds tattoo has honestly been on my mind for a while. i'm planning a sleeve, and i want to have characters from the culture that is newgrounds littered throughout it.

and if that somehow makes me a faggot, than so fucking be it.
