I have about 25 exp left for the next levels. However, daily votings always nets 10 exp, meaning that I always have that 5 dangling there. So, is there a way to get that other 5 exp?

I think that you can't. If I remember correctly when you sign up for NG you get two notification options. If you check them you receive 10 extra experience. You must have unchecked one of them when registering, hence the 5 xp.

You could try asking an admin to have 5 EXP removed. I don't know if it's possible though.

I actually have the same problem when I level up. There's always 5 EXP hanging there, and this whole time I thought that was supposed to be normal.

Did you left one of the options when you signed up unchecked as well?
