Because kids are in such a rush to grow up and the irony of it all is that when they finally do grow up or a some grown up situations come along they aren't ready for a lot of them wish they were kids again.

Okay, one: Annoying as it may be, they're teenagers. They'll emote spam until they see no need for it.
Two: If they're living out their relationship well, why bother with the image? In fact why bother with the image anyway? Everyone's going to have different opinions on the subject matter and language of that image on social media that it'd turn into a bitchfest rather quickly.
