It gets better once everybody knows each other and you know the rules and routines. Then you can relax and just enjoy yourself, because unless you're getting bullied (does that even happen anymore?) high school is really easy and laid back.

I'm usually pretty confident in groups, but since I've started my new job I've realized I definitely feel awkward sitting around the break room. You can't really get into an in-depth discussion since clients could come any minute, so it just ends up being a bunch of small talk, which is my weak point. I can't really function socially unless people are talking about some specific topic.
