I just released my first art to the art portal.its called the "Herbnatz" which is so crappy..but the real problem is can art be blammed? i dunno
I havent seen art being blammed but I saw art being removed because of copyright

Art and Audio can't be blammed but it can be removed by the moderation team if it breaks the rules and guidelines.
Here's a little list of stuff that you can't submit into the Art Portal.

Also, if you want anyone besides scouted artists to see your work in the portal, you need to be scouted yourself, and no-one's going to do that if it's all awful. Whether or not you want the publicity of appearing in the portal is up to you, but the point of the scouting system is that stuff doesn't need to be blammed in the same way flashes do; they can just be restricted to non-public pages and your userpage.

You can only get unscouted or 'castrated' for your efforts.
Seeing as how you haven't been scouted, you need at least 4 worthy art pieces to get scouted and you oughtta be consistent with quality. If you screw that up, you're outta there.
