I'd even be happy seeing iaido displays and cutting arts (on tatame, not people obviously) and think they involve the sort of combination of precision and potential for ingenuity that would make for a wonderful olympic sport (and it would rejuvinate practical exploration of the form and function of the sword, rather than merely aesthetic, traditional, and hobbyist contribution to the craft).

I think this, along with horse archery, make wonderful additions to the martial art tradition of the Olympics. I have mixed feelings about them as sports because of their profoundly injurious nature, but then they have wrestling, bobsledding, diving, and several others that have probably equally high rates.
