if i didn't become an anime character though, i would probably get some pokemon like most of the insect types (beedrill, scyther, that red thing with the snapper claws) and those special types of pokemon that looks like walking turrets.
If Pokemon were real, then everything would be live-action, not anime.

If Pokemon literally came to life, there would be people who just stand outside your town and all the other towns, waiting for you and other trainers to come and battle them while they blurt out random words. The battles give meaning to their petty little lives, in which without the battles, they would just stand there. Stand there with no purpose, no meaning, no happiness. Some, though, wouldn't battle. They would just stand there, waiting for someone to come into contact with them to speak only for brief moments. But, they all would stand there until their body had given up all hope. All others wouldn't even care. They wouldn't notice. They would be to self-centered and focused on their journey to even give the slightest thought to it.
That would be the Pokemon world.
...HAH! Just kidding! It would probably be all fun and fancy-free! I would have a skitty. And a Gyarados. And a Dragonite. And we would probably have solved all medical problems with those Pokemon Centers. It would probably be a good world.

BTW, am I hearing more Meloetta talk when it comes to Pokemon? It was announced early in June as a Pokeball Pokemon appearing in SSB4, and it seems to stand out in terms of cuteness. I looked at other cutest Pokemon polls, however, and Meloetta is rare or absent (even though it has been around since 2012).
I believe in the ultimate triumph of evil over good in this world.

Obviously my favorite badass Pokemon is shiny Rayquaza, but my favorite Cute Pokemon is Meloetta, which is closely followed by my second place favorite cute Pokemon Diancie.
