Forgot how good it felt to actually get stuff finished.

I've suffered a bit of a crash - so I lost some narration and linework - I had so little time, so I had to just submit with the deadline looming - It isn't nearly what I wanted it to be and is very broken and incomplete - but I hope if I should ever be admitted to round 1 (or 2, I dunno how it works) - I can really perform my best.

Whoa man, that was some mighty smooth animation you had there! I reckon you could go pretty far in the competition, don't worry about it! ;D
As for myself, I'm not gonna be taking part this year after all. I haven't had any time this month and I'll still have a lot on my plate for the coming months so.... I don't want to enter if I can't adequately dedicate myself to the competition, as if last year wasn't bad enough ha ;p
Hopefully next year I'll be able to give it my all!
Till then I'll be watching! ;D

Thankyou very much for the encouragement - I very much loved your interlude toon. - smooth animation yourself!
Due to work and school over the month i really hadnt been able to get much done on my short. so i will not be submitting it to NATA this year, i really ended up liking the script though so i WILL finish it, im just going to take my time.
However good luck to all, looking forward to seeing how this year will turn out!
Didnt get finish on the account of a death in the family, and Flash's biggest corruption ever. Not only did flash corrupt the main file, it also (somehow) corrupted the Back up, and both swfs............. I finally managed to "finish" my cartoon.

Here ya go! Generoci-Day (Rough)! Featuring CATS!
It's not much to look at but, it's all I could muster in the short span of time without my computer. Luckily, my Cintiq and Desktop have arrived and I'll be thrice as better next round...provided I make it.
Initially,there was far more content I wanted to add into this animation, but cut most of it due to silly, unforeseen events. Our main hero was meant storm off across a full blown town of other cats, constantly giving him various items. Maybe I'll add it later!

I was only able to work on it for a grand total of five days, so I don't think I will make it, but i am THRILLED that I finally finished a open round entry. Hope you all like it.

Oh geee! Your cartoon is lovely. I really dig the frame by frame work and the character designs everything that made late 90's cartoons great combined. I hope you make it to the next round. The only thing that I don't like are the backgrounds, however I do understand you didn't have time to finish them.
Needs some more lip-sync and sound but it's not too drastically unfinished.
