I guess mine was a bit confusing. While "Birth Day" was the holiday being celebrated, the "new holiday" in mine was the tyrant coming to end their holiday and introduce "death day", the assistant even did a thumbs up to hint at the theme, but i can see how it wouldn't be too apparent, especially with the horrible animatic. It's a lame concept, I know, but it's all I could come up with at the time. If it was actually finished, I'm sure it would have been apparent, but my computer died so I couldn't finish :/. Thanks for the feedback though. And no, there wasn't any copyrighted music in mine, all Royalty Free music: most of it was by Kevin MacLeod, except for one piece by Royalty Free Kings.

I know I made it into the Novice round bracket, but I always appreciate good constructive criticism. If you wouldn't mind, what were your thoughts on my animation? What areas would you have liked to have seen improvement?

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I'll practice a lot this year, and try again next year. I can say that I learned a lot over the last 25 days, and they were VERY worth it! I will try to do the next themes, even though they won't be for judging. Thank you and I hope to see you all next year! :)
