The only geeky thing I got was a Galaxy Note 5 and a Galaxy S6.
How's the S6 going for you? I've been meaning to buy the Galaxy S6 Active.
I gave it to the spousal unit but she likes it a lot and she came from a Nexus 4. The battery life sucks though. The Note 5 has been really awesome. The battery is better than the S6 and I got used to the size in less than a day - it's not as comically big as previous Notes. I kind of wish Samsung stuck with the water and dust resistance they had in the S5.
Screen splitting is available on the Note and the S6 and it's really useful - I wish it was part of stock android and was available on all apps.
Samsung Pay is really neat but kind of a pain. I can't seem to get it to work at Subway or CVS even though Subway has NFC (Samsung Pay tries first using the mag stripe tech before using NFC so the MST will often confuse their machines and they have to re-start the transaction and you look like an ass). It works great with self checkout things like at Home Depot or Walmart.
The screens on both phones are epic. I thought the full HD panel on my Nexus 5 was pretty much as good as you would ever need but the QHD panels Samsung use are just so much better (and color tuned way better too). Samsung has also toned down touchwiz and include a theme store where you can download something more nexus like (material dark is better than stock marshmallow imo).
