This is a thread to share which books you are currently enjoying. For me, I'm reading and trapped in three.
"Twenty-first century Plague: The Story of SARS."
"The Dead Hand"
"Saddam's Bomb maker"
next up on my list is:
"Final Exam: A surgeons reflection on Mortality."
The Shrinking Man by Richard Matheson.
I am still mid-way through The Road To Reality by Roger Penrose also, but that needs large amounts of undisturbed time to enjoy to it's potential.
Prone to typos.
daodejing the men are from mars women from venus women by charles bukowski some gucking poetries you knwo the dealy boiye
A metric shit-ton of things for school, and then when I get the chance, Michael Chabon's Telegraph Avenue and Joseph Campbell's The Hero With a Thousand Faces.
The Sketch Book by Washington Irving
The Great Gatsby
NG verison - Gagsy
The Open Boat
I'm re reading Life of Pi having just seen it at the cinema, great read.
I'm currently reading the Accel World Light Novel series by Reki Kawahara.
I'm also reading The Wheel Of Time series by Robert Jordan, slowly but surely.
I'm currently reading "Leaving Home" by David French, "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck, and "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. Only reading them for the exams. The first 2 books for my English exam and the last book for Science ISU (Independent Study Unit) for literally.
green eggs and ham, page 6
you fuckers better not spoil it, this shit is intense
Everything in this post is wrong.
I'm sorry, Jumbe, but you're fucking ugly -Amaranthus
Stephen King - Under the Dome
Very good psychological thriller. I like the narrative where it follows several different characters in mini chapters. It's the way I've been writing my own novel, so it's good to see an author like King do it as well.
Mark Kermode - The Good, The Bad and the Multiplex: What's Wrong With Modern Movies
Film critic writing about how 3D is crap and how modern movies are shite. Interesting read.
Some people feel content to pour syrup on shit and call it pancakes their whole lives.
