It's no wonder this group of extraordinary and very well-known artists made it so far in the arena! It's a rather interesting pair for the finals. If I may ask a sort-of relevant question, for 2013 (if 2012 doesn't end us all) do the auditions for the next deathmatch begin around summertime? Forgive me, I'm trying to become more active with the music community here and am a little mad at myself for not paying more attention. It's a blessing for everyone who even got the chance to be an active participant. Though this is a place where we don't see each other face-to-face, I think there's an amount of courage and confidence that goes into making the attempt, especially when you're attempting a contest that has "death" in its title! Think about the people who got so nervous that by the time they decided to try it was already too late.

Anyways, congratulations to the sexy finalists and the sexy semi-finalists.

That's right, 2013 in summer time. However Echo and I don't want to guarantee the fact that there'll always be another NGADM every year (even though we do have plans to host an NGADM 2013). We've been keeping it up for four years straight but hosting an NGADM is a hell of a lot of work and you never know what might happen. But yeah, if all goes according to plan, keep an eye on the Audio Forum for the NGADM 2013 thread next summer.

I feel so bad not having been a part of this NGADM but found out too late about it :(

Coming along nicely! Vocals, guitars, bass, drums all done. Just layering some keyboard parts now, then a mix and I'm done.

Good! Done with about 70% of the song id say. im doing my absolute best this time. allready 20 hours of work put into it.
I finally mannaged to avoid my usual patterns, and i really feel this is one of the most professional things ive done. im still worried tho that something might be flawed or boring or have lame transitions, so i keep deleting stuff and going back to previous riffs. hm. it will be fun to see how this turns out!

i had another question aswell, is there any limitation to track length? i might end up around 8-9 minutes for this track!
i realise the quality will have to suffer a bit because of this, as NG only allows 15mb upload. but for this particular track the length is kinda needed, as it tells a story.

And this is what I despise. People have named their pieces loads of things, some which I blatantly stand against of course. But that doesn't take away from the fact that some of them are accomplished musicians.

On that note, Kor-Rune, Waterflame... all the best. Until I listen to both submissions (which I shall be doing shortly), I will take this round as a rather unpredictable one.
