Well then, that's one less reason to like chrome better

At least Chrome doesn't make your entire computer get stuck when it crashes.

Internet explorer doesn't do that for me

For me when it crashes my computer goes awry and sometimes explorer.exe crashes (but it automatically restarts). Still, chrome doesn't do that.

Yeah, maybe it is because they made it so that IE9 is more integrated with the Windows 7 Operating System. I still use XP like the rube that I am, and I don't use IE, so I have never had that happen to me.

Considering IE is built into all windows computers for other aspects of the OS does this mean that is also a problem even if using another browser? Or is it only if we actually load up IE as a browser when we will be at risk?

Looks like I am one of the 2.14% that use Opera.

Has Newgrounds ever considered trying to present members with browser choices on it's homepage, like YouTube does for unsupported browsers?

Ah that is a good relief then, back to not giving a shit until the next warning.

Thats not so bad.

They also believe the earth is round, the moon is made out of cheese, eat kittens for breakfast and think Google Chrome is a type of alloy.

I really wish firefox were still good, but I had so many problems with it that I had to switch to Chrome about a year ago. Most google products are clusterfucks of bad design but Chrome is pretty stable.

Safari is still faster for me, but I like having the option of greasemonkey and other addons.

The last commercial I saw for IE had dubstep in it, so they are officially appealing to kids who don't know any better.

It took me an hour to make this signature. You bastards better appreciate it.

First Java, now IE.

Whoever runs amok on driveby-malware much be rich this year.

Keep your IE and see some consequence. I can't wait to see threads of people who whines about infection. At least I already see that on DeviantArt.

God, no! I used IE/Firefox until 2008, when I changed to Google Chrome.... and the world has never been brighter!

Personally, I think the usage of IE (in particullar, the old ones) is bad. Me as a web developer have to do a lot of extra work when it comes to devloping to support old browsers and we can't even use the new and cooler things added to the internet.

Only naive young users new to the internet or don't understand simple technical things use such crap browsers like IE.

During which the users will ask themselves why they hadn't changed to Chrome or Firefox many years before.

LMAO, So even Microsoft is telling people that IE sucks.

Good thing I use Firefox and chrome, I have never run into any problems.

Or better yet, use a different browser indefinitely.

So much for the IE Commercial they have been running recently. This is got to give you pause as far as using Windows Phone Smartphones.

You mean Windows Phone won't have other web browsers downloadable?

Oh, I'm sure they will eventually, but Windows Phone OS is just another piece of new software. If they can't keep a piece of software like IE (that they have been working on for over a decade) relatively secure I have to question whether Windows Mobile will develop similar problems. You're always taking a risk using something new with Microsoft.

The only reason I have to use IE8 is to store HTTP addresses and download content using it's cache system because Chrome's cache is just chaotic and arcane.

Then use Firefox instead. IE8 is, in the digital world, a fossil.

You can also try Opera, Safari, Rockmelt, Slimbrowser or the IE addon browsers Maxthon and Avant Browser. They're easy enough to install and maybe you'll really enjoy using one of them and find a new favorite browser.

But it lacks the big, red "fuck-me" bug that IE9 has so I don't get the point. Also, doesn't the latest version of Firefox a piece of shit?
