What's your favorite type of martial arts like Judo, Karate, Ninjutsu, etc. Also any type of boxing counts.

My favorites are Aikido, Savate, Chung Do Kwan, Shinkicking, and Bare Knuckle Boxing.

Fact - The Irish wouldn't let the people bare knuckle boxing move so it was just hit, get hit, and fall over.

Chon-Tu-Kwan Hapkido: currently a green belt, hoping to get to black someday, but it's hard work and the belts don't come easy.

Taekwondo: I've always respected the more practical schools of Taekwondo, it's a great art to learn how to strike effectively. If I reach blackbelt in Hapkido I'd like to take up Taekwondo.

Whatever they learn in the marines: My Hapkido instructor has taught me a few of the things he learned in the marine corps to try and make me a better rounded martial artist. If I had to sum it up in two words, I'd pick brutally effective. They don't fuck around.

Wrestling, because it's easily the strongest and most effective foundation style in MMA.

Maui Thai is pretty interesting to me. It was what I was training to be when I was in MMA. Though lately Krav Maga has really caught my attention.

Kung Fu, because it's the best way to fight during an actual confrontation.

Ninjutsu's also cool, but I think it's kind of a cowardly way of fighting.

Pankration. What do you mean you've never heard of it?

But really Aikido is by far my favourite.

Cool. I'm also a big fan of Eskrima. And did you know that some people consider Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding as a Martial Art?

That would be The Vulcan Death Grip.

My mum wants me to do Wing Chun.

If I had to choose any martial art it would be boxing, Wing Chun or Krav Mega.

They seem like the most useful.

That said though I am a lazy pathetic human being who doesn't act in his own best interests so I don't think I will end up doing wing chun and if I do I won't commit to it and it will be a waste of money and time

I don't know a specific Martial Art but I would like to learn:

1.Wing Chun
2.Shootboxing
3.Capoera or how ever you spell that, I wouldn't do that for self defence
4.Boxing
5.Savate

Krav Maga is centered on nothing but practical efficiency.

Combined with some traditional Judo lessons, you should be set.
