On the next day, we will meet at 2 PM at the CHAMP-DE-MARS station (orange line, meet right before the turnstile) to head out the Old Port, one of the most beautiful and touristic zones of Montreal. I added in the events to the Hub Page with the exception of the free day on Sunday, there is no 'event' that day so it seemed pointless to make a tab for it.

Well, my boss just texted me. I have to work on Friday even though I took the afternoon off a few weeks ago. I'll meet you guys at Peel for dinner. If I end up being able to leave early, I'll get in touch to figure what the group is doing.

A quick note for people showing up tomorrow : the meeting time at the Champs-de-Mars as changed from 1 PM to 2 PM.

More of the same really. We had probably half the people then last years. Most of the out of townees must have been scared off by the demonstrations. It's a shame because, we never ran into anything we could not handle. The closest thing we got to see was a group of people protesting abuses to horses in the old port; completely unrelated to anything violent. The weather was nice, I'm the worse bowling player in existence, everyone seemed to have had a good time and no one puked on Sniper's car or had a fire extinguisher in the pants. The not so fun stuff was discusses and will be improved upon for next years. I'll upload the pictures I took when I get home.

Well, that's good to know.

But the real reason why I couldn't go this year was because DonBush was severely weakened by a month long sickness and would not have been able to keep up with the rest of the group. That's pretty much it.

And if I do come next year, I'll be sure to bring Don and a new +1 with me. Maybe Jellyfist and/or Chewbackabrn as well.
