Then why does free healthcare never work? Who's paying the doctors to fix you up? You see, the government takes 80% of everyone's non-government income they work for and redistribute it. When a doctor or surgeon feels that they are not getting paid enough for the 8-10 years they spent in medical school, they feel as if their hard work was all wasted. It is, because if they were making $89,000 a month and the government was taxing them 80% of their income, they'd only make $17,800 a month while the government takes $71,200. Now I don't know how much surgeons make a month, so I was just using an example.

The point is, socialism does not work. Free healthcare doesn't work because the medical field is quite demanding for money since those people work very hard for the money they make. That is why the U.S has the best healthcare system in the world.

It's where the doctors over-stay a patient to keep incoming patients waiting in order to relieve the stress on the doctors. The economy can't explain everything. Universal healthcare simply rations healthcare and over-works doctors.

Nope, an example I do remember is that Indian Canadians are discriminated against in the Canadian healthcare system because Canadian doctors cannot discriminate based on income, so doctors discriminate on race and gender. But if these companies did not have assets the US was interested in, wouldn't the US not spend its money on these companies? These companies are producing services and technologies that their governments will not buy, and the US is buying them because their products are necessary. If these companies were insignificant, then they wouldn't have a market here or there. However, these companies will never have a chance to become significant in those countries because they have no control over healthcare, the government does.

I like the US better because I like the amount of freedoms we enjoy, the diversity of the US, and its my home. I was born and briefly raised in Germany, but being raised in an American family and living the majority of my developing years in the US, I call the US home. I like the leniency of our nature. Europe had many strict policies that we (my family) didn't like, an example was the requirement to pay cops immediately after being pulled over for a driving/traffic violation. The penalty to pay the fine was being placed under arrest. We couldn't wear any clothing that had American flags on them when we went to major German cities because it was considered hostile nationalism. We've actually been asked to remove and hide our hats before, which had American flags on them. The penalty for non-compliance was being arrested.

I also like the diversity in the US. I like the diverse culture, the diverse landscape, and the interesting history of the US.

After some googling, I finally figured out what its called. It's called a "day-fine," which also makes up part of the officer's salary. It's used in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, and Macao.
