So you're the one on the Stickam!
You're doing great so far, but drawing those scales must require seems to require an awful lot of patience :o

Half asleep fail. Anyway, nice work. Are you planning to color the piece or are those sketch practices?
Im not quite sure yet, I think I might do two versions. I know I wanna hatch everything, I guess we'll see where it goes from there.

Im really envious of the ability digital artists have to simply change the composition at freewill :(
but aside of that this is looking better black and white then it did in color. i like it alot.

Thanks man, I've re-drawn this so many times, I cant keep track. The composition had to be just right, otherwise it looks rather chaotic and unpleasing to the eye. I actually re-drew the stuff that you see changing around, so I'm sure you could adopt something similar for a traditional medium like you use. I wish I could afford the supplies to work traditionally, I feel I could achieve better results. Thanks for the feedback man, I appreciate it

Traditional artists have to do thumbnail sketches and pre sketches before the actual final composition sketch.
its usually like a 10 - 15 drawing process so we draw the subject matter several times over. The problem is the fact of layering and how the materials attach to the paper. When you layer even if you erase your slowly flattening the tooth of the paper making it less effective to draw on, sometimes your even applying layers of whatever medium you apply to the point you cant erase anymore so you have to redraw from a new sheet of paper.
Where as in digital i figure you can just white out a part and redraw it without having to worry about these issues.
Some artists who do compoisitions out of imagination spend more time doing sketches and pre-drawings before they finally decide their final composition for their final piece.

more attempts to fix the composition, I think Ill just settle having the chicken as the focal point...
