Kind of pissed they didn't implement any of the changes I recommended(mostly to fix the Golbin Invasion so it's not so fucking boring). I though for sure they would of read it because it got a ton of likes. Ah well another great update I suppose, probably still won't play the game for a while.

I'm absolutely hating this update. New worlds screw with the map viewer, and liquid rendering breaks in old worlds. Ash blocks falling randomly, creating lava floods in my hell mine. Plus lava slime, spawning lava everywhere, and hellbats. I thought I wouldn't have to deal with these fucking bats if I'm in hell but there had to be bats set on fire.

My old world glitches out and lava spawned in the lower parts of my underground jungle, and hell. I made a sea funnel to farm "natural" obsidian. Then again, I already have an obsidian factory.

So I finally got Terraria and it's pretty cool. The guide is kind of useless so I made a dungeon for him. Don't worry he has a bunny rabbit to keep himself some funny.

Apparently I have a tower now filled with those gel enemies.

I want to go deeper into the earth, but I don't have that many torches. Um...how do I get more? I just got this so I'm a newb at this game.

Torches are made from gel (dropped by slimes) and wood.

The new update sucks for rocket boots and the number of greifers online is growing. Also, fuck the developer of tmod for greifing problem.

I'm really pissy about this game right now, but it's still a good game.

Personally the cave bats are what is pissing me off right now. It's like they know when I decide to un-equip my Cobalt Shield and jump across chasms of lava.

Lava slimes are pretty annoying too, but they're easy to take out from a distance. High Tier spears usually do the job also with the knockback.

Anybody experiencing Fps problems since the 1.0.5 update? Or got any idea how to sort it out?

Haven't tested but I would presume you could just lay out some rows of a sand and they would grow. Maybe try and make it 3 inches thick and give it some time and see if it works.

I haven't. Try going into your settings and turning Parallax to 0. Also try messing with the frame skip option and the resolution.

I know that most likely everybody in here already has a copy of the game but it's going for $2.49 on Steam for the next 22.5 hours or $7.49 for the 4 pack so now would be a great time to buy copies for friends.

Well before when I played without playing (I wonder how I did that), I really didn't like it, but now I'm finding loads of chests and it's really entertaining. I didn't know you could get a fucking BOOMERANG.

Oh god, this game is too addicting for me, 3 days and I'm near the 40 hour mark of game play. Got the best armor and weapons, debating whether or not to give up my muramusa for a night's edge. Anyway, great game, got it for a good price and quite frankly it's worth the full $10. Just my 2 cents.

i has an angel statue and a diving helmet. now i have to find a dungeon and kill some bosses.

I love this game.

I've played it a bunch recently, and even though I suck and have no armour or good weapons, I keep playing.

Over the past 2 weeks since I've gotten this game, I've put a good 80+ hours into it. My older brother and I play it a lot, we have all sorts of cool shit on his server. We've beaten all three big bosses, claimed the entire dungeon for ours. gotten full sets of good armor (I've got the jungle stuff as I play a mage sort of guy) and he has the full molten set. There isn't much left for us, so now we get to building tons of shit. :P

It is a great game though, better than I expected it to be.

has anyone seen the 1.0.5 video? am I late on finding that?

Try hardcore mode, or you can wait until the 1.0.6 that's coming out next month that is going to make the game a lot more challenging.

new update! there's a ton of new stuff. I made a hardcore character and already have most of the new wooden items. there are kegs and mugs in game now so I'm thinking making alchohol is a future possibility
