So is anyone familiar with Hideo Kojima's game "Stalker"? Because the guy who played the main character in the English dub of it was my Voice Acting for Animation teacher... and he may also be playing my main character.

Yeah sorry about the 4 posts lol I got all excited. I actually managed to get a Female voice, so I'm good now. I just have to actually make it now -.-; you know... the Hard part! lol

Progress Reports everyone?

So I originally thought mine would be like a minute long... but after getting all the sound together, it turns out its like 6 and a half minutes.... Which is still do-able, as alot of it is inner monologueing and one section isn't timed correctly yet and there is a potential minute and a half Id cut right there. This will be fun >.>

I've only done about 12 seconds of animation.
But I usually cram like 50% of it in the last 3 days anyway.

I have the audio and one background... does that count?

But I've finally finished my exams so I might as well start doing something... soon :D

About 5% done. Here's what I've accomplished over the last ten days:

-Came up with an idea
-Decided it was stupid
-Came up with a better idea
-Wrote a script
-Decided that the script was stupid

Now I'm rewriting most of the script.

So that "minute and a half" I thought would get cut turned out to only be 30 seconds... which is still a good cut, but not nearly as much as I wanted it to be lol. I think its do-able. Got 2 more weeks... yeah.... I got this.... Ill be finishing the storyboards tonight hopefully.

Heres a screenshot from mine. Its 51 scenes long >.> and 6 minutes. Ive already completed 3 scenes.... this will take a while lol

So I finished my 5 scenes for the day. If I can do 5 scenes a day, then Ill be done in 10 days... long "short" is long... Also, heres another screen shot, which you can view more of on my website.

What happens if our SWF file is much more than 10MB? Ive barely made a dent in my animation and its already 7.1MB.

There's this one weird bug that it's hard to explain, that I've been having ever since I had flash 8 on my old computer (tho it was less common), but I've found more common in cs4, and I recently made a thread about it and noone replied. Basically sometimes that I fill some part of a drawing another part gets filled with black, a random color, or just dissappears, and this is kind of annoying.

Also if Adobe programs are going to crash so much, why hasn't there been an autosave function already?!

Yeah I have those problems alot too, Ive also had this really horrible bug that when I turn an animation in a Symbol, it deletes my outlines... not fun! lol

On that notw, Progress reports? I just did 6 scenes of animation and now Im back on track.

Aww you all are doing all these sophisticated stuff and working on schedule... mine is.... 80 seconds exactly lol, well guess it's not that bad, I started animating a little today, gotta hate the lip-synching, before it was only audio and backgrounds. My goal are 30 seconds today (just made that up). :D
