As of Monday, I get the house to myself for an entire week while my family are all away abroad on holiday. I've lived on my own before, when I was in first year of university, but it was catered accommodation so I never really had to take care of myself as much as I will have to next week.

This could be a great adventure for me, or it could be a really boring week. I'd prefer if it was the first option, but I don't know what to do to keep myself occupied for a week. Sure, I could do what I usually do, but that doesn't take any advantage of having a house to myself for a week.

Any ideas of what I should do with a week to myself?
Do you have any recommendations of things I could easily prepare and eat for a week?
If you've recently been in a situation like this, how did it turn out?
Will I have to set traps to defend my home from burglars?

1. Go to graveyard.

3. Take bodies home.
4. ????
5. PROFIT.

Had this twice a year for the last few years, when my family goes away for a week at Easter, and a fortnight in the summer. Used to love it, less of a big deal now I'm living in my own flat for months at uni anyway. Still, having a house to myself rather than a one-room flat is always nice.

I'm also getting a whole week by myself this monday, we should plan a party together....

I do, but I can't drive it (and haven't for a long time) any more because my insurance expired and it's too expensive. I rarely use my car, so I'm not spending all that money on insurance for it.
