But yes, portions of Africa are pretty FUBAR, I believe it has a lot do to with politics and such- aid money being stolen, and help being refused and whatnot.

It's an incredibly moving picture, but I wouldn't say it's the saddest of the century. I've seen far worse (mostly ones of the Israelis bombing the fuck out of the Palestinians).

Yeah, I saw that on Snopes (you can see really ANY popular online photo at Snopes) and read about how it was so depressing. I am glad I was able to confirm that it was real before taking part in the mourning that made this. Do vultures eat people anyway? I suppose they would simply eat any dead bodies that they could find. Africa is the most famine stricken and poorest continent in the world that people should be more aware of.
