STARTED. Have a character, but the hard part is figuring out what to make them do. Thinking about kind of ignoring the music since it's not giving me any ideas.

I have to get a lot down now since my grandpa just randomly flipped out and is on the warpath :D I feel like sleeping will be a bad idea right now. Absolute worst case, I'll animate it at someone else's house, stick it on a disk, and upload it to the internet from the library.

My character isn't a dude so I hope I'm safe :P I came up with an awesome idea, though! Don't want to say too much, but it's not a 1v1 thing.

Mine is a 1v1 thing, :/ its actually quite unoriginal, but whatev. I'm doing actually an Fbf fight scene for the first time so this is going to be interesting

my idea is inspire by that last scene in last samurai where they are running at the dudes with the giant gattling guns

I'll do the unique, never before done, samurai duel where the 2 samurai are looking at each other for hours to do their attack and when they finally do, a white light covers the whole screen, and then you see them at opposite sides and the AWESOME part is that you do NOT know which one won till one of them falls. XD

I think I'm going to do mine in the old Japanese ink print style.

Thinking about an idea. I actually was thinking that it'd be better to do something more cliche for this because I think that's what people think of when you say samurai. I think of guys with swords and elaborate clothing.

Anyone having issues playing the music (and it doesn't sound like many of you are) ... Audacity is a free and export a version for use while animating.

As for sound fx, that's totally cool ,just be sure when you send it to me, that you get rid of all unused sound files as they will bog down your FLA file, and I don't want to have to pick through all your folders of symbols guessing which sounds were and were not used :)

I don't see much need for coding in the animations, but if so, AS3 please. :)

A final list of the details will be posted some time today as a reminder... I know there are lots of "dirty deets" ... like the one in my pants.

Finished a full animatic of my piece, now im going to bed, back to work soon enough! I think i might go on livestream all day just for the hell of it while i work...does this sound like a bad idea? (Not that you guys would be able to watch anyways, as ur workin on ur own thing)

Sweet, quick question though, I'm having trouble drawing two people at once. I always draw one of their heads bigger than the other :P

My part is gonna have a samurai kid slashing bandits. I'll use the beats of my part of the music for some cool visual effects.

After my "long" sleep, I had one idea about a tough samurai facing a dragon and the dragon roars at the samurai and then the samurai looks super scared afterwards. THOUGHTS?
I figure this would be a good one for me since I only have 6 seconds to animate.
I also thought of another idea of a woman in traditional geisha clothing sitting and then she hears footsteps and she looks quickly to her side and there's a samurai standing there and we assume he's there for her.
Which one would be better?

That would be pretty cool :D I would find it amusing
