"Tales of" games ending?

The studio behind the "Tales of _____" games is running a severe debt due to lack of sales.

Could this be the end of the series? I remember playing Tales of Symphonia for GC and Tales of Legendia for PS2. They were pretty damn awesome. They apparently took a nosedive in sales when the new generation started. I haven't played any of the newer games, so I can't really tell if the newer games are as good as the old ones, but it's pretty sad to see a studio with such talent dieing.

I still don't understand why they are taking so long on releasing Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 though. RPG's tend to sell better on the PS3 than they do on the xbox, so they pretty much shot themselves in the leg with that one.

Tales of Phantasia had the best story IMO. But I like TOS for the GC too.
Kinda wish I had TOS 2.

Well they DID release ToV for PS3, just in Japan. Makes no sense why they haven't brought it over state-side though, and the fact that ToG for Wii was a horrible mess, they deserve to be in debt.

It's sad to see it go cause i loved that series so much especially the Phantasia,Symphonia & Destiny/Eternia games,i just hope RPGs will stay forever. =\

That's not enough, now if Namco actually marketed these games here, instead of throwing them on the shelves in extremely limited numbers.

Tales of Symphonia was the best game of last generation. It would be sad to see the series go.
