These guys show up blank in the All Your Base page... Suppose it's a good way to honor participants in one of NG's earliest fads. :)

Did you do all of them within two minutes? Only the last two had one icon missing. Heh, if only we could all be that fast.
This isn't a bad flash but I wanted to bring it up as I thought it was a hilarious parody of Wade.
Game marked as a movie.

Time out, man. :P
Needs a webcam to make icon:
I'll get to this.
When it comes to Kingdom Hearts May Cry, I'm tempted to just delete them, but it does bring up a long-standing question.... In general I would prefer not to see any new "dub" submissions, but there are some classics such as Knox's Matrix Dub and Tomamoto's Avatar dub. I imagine we'll just keep letting these slide to preserve that part of NG's history, although I should make sure the future terms better reflect a policy of not doing that sort of thing. Even recently someone submitted a funny dub of the old Spiderman cartoon and we really enjoyed it during the broadcast - it's tough when stuff like that was more acceptable pre-YouTube, but now that we're focusing on a more specific tone for NG, it doesn't fit in as well, despite being entertaining. Any overall thoughts on that stuff?

Yeah, I was surprised you let the Spiderdub movie slide, even if it was funny as hell. Maybe the best solution is to take down submissions of such kind if you get a notice from any big companies. Hopefully no-one goes to the step of suing you right away just because they saw copyrighted footage of Harry Potter on one dub submission here. It is a tough decision when there are such classics such as Knox's dubs in the portal.
When it comes to copyrighted material, I'm more concerned about WMG or any major record companies going after submissions here just because someone made a music video for a Beatles song. Animators have shown great visionaries with songs they've used with their animations and it would suck if all that effort went down the drain. Maybe you can protect them by saying you didn't place new policies until last year but copyright laws are always tricky to me.
DMCA offers some protection as long as you remove a piece of content after being given notice, but as usual I would prefer that people just stop looking to commercial music when making stuff, especially when there are so many great musicians on the Audio Portal who could use the spotlight. It's especially annoying when people organize entire collabs around commercial songs. I think there's less of that going on lately, gotta just keep reminding people.

Could you not exploit PBot or one of your Admin powers to sort of send every user a PM - asking them to look into the Audio Portal more for this one occasion. Then everybody would get the message - not everybody reads the news posts all the time is all.
Idk, its a thought Tom!
I saw some photo dicks flashing here.
What are the grounds for submissions showing live animals getting eaten? It's a grey area to me.
Uhh, Osama slapped on photographic breasts?
Small images of Goatse here.
Really should be marked as a movie.
Made 185 icons since I started today. That's a great time to stop and take a rest. All except three were made for Clock authors. I bet the clockcrew tag is rich in submissions by now.
Shame this flash had to throw in a picture of Goatse.
Movies/spam junk marked as games.
People who have spoofed Harry Potter:
That list will complete the HP collection!
I feel sort of stupid for asking this. But I am not to sure what constitutes what hentai games/movies get deleted, or anything else that's being deleted lately.
Like, is it just the ones with stolen images, that they did not draw themselves, or is there more to it? I fell like I am missing something.

I'll take these ones. Can probably finish them all tonight.

Sorry, I didn't see your post and I did 3 of the icons.
The end... I, I don't even know what to say.
Is it me or is the only thing that's different is the preloader?
All five tell me I need Flash 8. What?
Movie marked as a game.
Load teasing submission.
And on that note, all the surviving first thousand submissions now have new icons.
This shows a flashing ad to another website in the middle of the screen that can't be taken down. On top of that the part of the screen I can see looks like a hentai game, which doesn't qualify for an E rating.
Both just have single images of a cat.
The rest of the series actually does use flash, which I guess you can say is an improvement. Sadly each just have a couple frames of flashing images. So not sure if these are deemed worthy.
Here are guys who had popular comedy submissions back in the day but still don't have thumbnails!
http://hayburner.newgrounds.com/flashico ns (has first one on list, none after that)
http://plastico-monkey.newgrounds.com/fl ashicons (1 missing)
http://wolvie.newgrounds.com/flashicons - for someone who wants a big list
Oh FUCK I was just making another big list directly into the post form and then I bumped something and deleted it. Usually I do these in a text file first, lesson re-learned. I'll make the list again once these other thumbnails are further along but here's one of them:
Also just stumbled on george-kelly-johnson while updating genre info and he needs thumbnails too!

I was just about to take care of this guy as part of my "Making icons for the oldest submissions" mission. May as well claim him now seeing this submission is currently the oldest without an icon:
All first surviving 1,500 submissions now have icons! In addition, submission reporting time!
Movie marked as a game.
