I find it Hilarious Blizzard was put up against Behemoth. The makers of World of Warcraft, versus a small company. Although I support Newgrounds and our affiliates to the fullest. I'll tell you right now, Blizzard will win.
The contest isn't even fair though. How could other developers compete with the wow community. You know that at some point this contest makes it's way to a few wow forums and then an army of wow fanboiz will vote for blizzard.

Are you implying that there will be some sort of rush of voters from the Blizzard camp? Is there some kind of precedent for something of that sort within Blizzard's games? I'm not all that familiar with them

What they probably did was drew the brackets from a hat, and then seeded everyone within the brackets. Putting 1vs16, 2vs15, etc is standard, because what they want is for the biggest and best to be the ones duking it out in the finals. They do exactly the same thing in every sports playoff, for exactly the same reason.
