Well, when I was quite a bit younger, I saw some gifts under a table covered with a table cloth, and I looked closer. I saw that a few gifts were from "Santa". Well, I already had my doubts, so I asked my mom about the truth, and she said there was no Santa. I wasn't upset at all.

I secretely hid behind the sofa at midnight. I waited for 15 minutes, my mother comes down and i jumped out and said:
"You're mine Santa! Give me my presents"
Only to find my mother placing the presents in front of the christmas tree.
I only cried after that.

I was 7 years old....It was embarrasing and heart breaking.

I was starting to become doubtful of Santa's existence around 8 - 10. The first thing that I found odd was when "he" gave me and my sister a Mega Drive in 1996 and my nan gave me the Toy Story game for that console. I was wondering if Santa knew my nan personally but I knew that couldn't be right. The other giveaway was when I wrote a letter to Santa and the reply was in my dad's handwriting. My mum eventually told me he wasn't real and I wasn't upset about it as I had enough doubts by the time I turned 11.

I dunno. Guess I always had my suspicions but I forced myself to believe in him in case he was real and didn't give me presents for not believing. I was about 10 when I found out but I didn't tell my parents until I was 11.... hehe.

I don't know the exact age, but I started having suspicions when I noticed I got a camera from Santa and I looked at the label and it said it came from Wal-Mart. My guess to the age would be something like perhaps 10 or 11?

I was looking for a tag to put on a present I got for my mom, and in the box with all of the christmas tags there was one that said: "To: Vince, From: Santa" and I realized that my parents must have wrote that.

My dad got sick of playing stealth games and just told me.

I was camping near the christmas tree with my trusty, yet crappy, camera until I saw my parents walking down the stairs with the gifts. I was sad, but luckily I got metroid prime on that day :)

My dad told me that he was only real in "Imaginary World", like The Easter Bunny and Jesus.

Come to think of it, almost exactly like that south park episode, except he told me this when I was 4 or 5.

Santa clause on Coke bottles had a white face, and blue eyes. My Santa had tanned skin and black eyes, and resembled my dad. As well, my dad asked my mom on the car phone (these old old old ancient devices from the 90s), He said "Hey, Ella, I can't find these "Spinjas". My Brother was in the car, and coincidentally he asked for Spinjas. These battling tops....

Spinjas were these battling tops painted to resemble Ninjas.

I believed in Santa longer than I believed in god by about 3 months. I was 6.
