I'm going for my license test again in eight days. If you all remember I went off a few months ago for failing the first time...miserably. I won't let that shit happen again.

Also I'm trying to become an author lolz. My (unfinished) novel rules so hard and it's partially based on the scifi story I started here 2 years ago. Good times.

AND my Xbox finally got to the repair center, so I'll be able to play again in a little while, assuming fuck-face Snype gets Live again because no-one else is cool like us and has it (That I know of or care about). I finally manage to get into Call of Duty 4 and my Bawks craps out. Fucking great.

Yeah, I failed my license test the first time also. Got a damn critical error. How many can you miss before you fail? Is it the same all over the country? (I'm making the assumption that you're from the US, so correct me if I'm wrong) In California you can make 15 errors before you fail. I missed the magical number of 14. =D

No I live in America and I had never heard of them before. The funny thing was my parents had never heard of them and nobody that I talked to have ever heard of them before.

I guess so. The second time I went the person never asked me to turn them on. I've never seen anyone use them before as all they do is make your lights dim to the point where you can barely see anything inside of your car.

The funny thing was thought that the second time I went and I had somebody else instead of the same person and they said that they never ask where the parking lights were and that I shouldn't have been asked the question in the first place. That would explain why I never learned any of it from my drivers ed teacher also.

First time I took my road test I failed within the first five seconds. I went to make a turn and almost caused an accident. Nothing has changed since that day even though l passed the second time, (somehow).

Coincidently I'm going to try the practical (written) test this weekend. Hopefully I'll pass...

oh that's right! the parking lights are lights right beside the headlights. they're orange. it's kinda like turning on all your brakes and turn signals on at once, except half as bright.

A year? Here in America, you only have to wait six months after taking the permit test. Also, it's ridiculously easy, in my mind it's completely pointless. The road test is basically the only thing htat matters.

Yeah but you need a permit to take the test. Not to mention if you don't you're considered an illegal driver. Also you need a permit to take drivers ed which greatly helps your chances of passing. Unless you're me and fail.

Sorry. I should have been more specific. I got my permit, and didn't take the test within a year, so it expired. But all I had to do was retake the permit test, and I could take a driving test. So why the hell would I even need to take the second permit test in the first place? That's what I meant, the second permit is uber pointless.

I went that morning to take the test,
and was sweating bullets nervous about the thing.
Got in the car with the state trooper,
and ended up passing it with a 97.

You take the test with a state trooper? We just take it with some person who works for the DMV. Also, in California, we don't have a percentage. you can miss 15, and that's it. How low of a percentage can you get and still pass?

In New York you're allowed to be docked 25 points. So basically you're not allowed to get under a 75. My second time taking it I got an 83. The first time I got a, 'go gome.'

oh god did I hate that part, but the real hard part it when you do the driving part of the test.
PAY ATTENTION, don't speed, DON'T TOUCH THE RADIO, 3sec stops, look both ways at
RR crossing, practice driving the car you will use for the test(the smaller the car the better)
I failed my first DT in a minivan, passed it in my grand am.

the 'parking lights' are the yellow lights next to your headlights, driving/fog lamps are the ones low/under the headlights...

Dont trash a grand am unless you drive a v6 version like mine

the grand am is a 3 speed trans and has 170 hp (which isn't much) but it whoops 90% of v8 mustangs in the 1/4 mile. yours is only a LITTLE faster and it has 2 more cylinders making how many more hp?
