Ack, I can't even get EA games on Steam. EA aren't making any of their games available on Steam for UK or Japan users...
Weird. I know some companies just restrict their games to only North America (which is bad enough, but at least you wouldn't be nearly alone in not being able to get them, you know?)... JUST the UK and Japan? That's so fucked up.
If they were going to prevent just two countries from buying their shit via Steam, they should pick North Korea and Iran, not those two. #;-}>
Of course, you can't really expect them to put Guitar Hero on Steam since you need the peripherals in order to play them the right way.
You do realise that GH3 came out for PC way back when it came out for Wii/PS3/360/PS2, don't you? There are GH peripherals for PC already, there's no (good) reason Activision can't release it via Steam.
It's called being a realist and looking on the bright side and seeing the relative goodness in things you have no control over. #;-}>
(like when I had to accept that audio reviews were coming to the pentalist one way or the other)
Do you even like new stats that come up on this site? :P
Well, none of the new "stats" that come out on NG are ever related to exp or VP, the only stats I care about anymore (and yes, I still care about saves... barely #;-}>), so... no, I don't really care too much about them, it's true.
Now, if they were to add a way to gain extra VP for the audio portal or art portal, say (like b/p add to your exp's VP on the flash portal), I'd start paying more attention, yes.
I'm pretty sure those crashes were unrelated to the Source issues I've been having. I think they were just a one-off.
kk.

Btw, I got L4D. Account name Wylo
Sweet! *adds*
I tried to add him via the web after clicking his profile link, BTW... I logged in and everything... but when I clicked on "add to friends" it popped up a Steam login with my girl's info in it, so... I'll just wait till I actually log in in a bit and add him from your friendslist.
Weird that steamcommunity.com forces you to open Steam anyway when you want to do anything other than just looking at stuff....
The last thing I heard from him was hanging around on Facebook these days, which is such a big mistake, but hey, it's a +1 for me in VP and EXP ranks. :)
Ewww. MARCUS got himself on Facebook, eh? Even worse fate than WOW (with presumably less redeeming qualities, too).
You guys should just buy it for me. Problem solved. XD
And what would you give us in return? :P We're hoping for Sir-Nuts to get the game himself besides from Steam as he claims he doesn't have any card to use to get it from there.
Well, I could get it for Wylo and you get it for Sir-Nuts, I suppose. Next time there's a $5 or $10 sale on TF2, I mean.
We'll see what happens by the end of the year. I don't think it's the cash that's stopping either of them, though. For Sir-Nuts it's no credit card and for Wylo it's not seeing it at the store (where he apparently bought the far-more-expensive L4D, after all).
I'd rather have more competition in the online game distribution business. Or else Valve will turn into the next Microsoft and slowly up their licensing and certification costs.
Well I'd rather have just the one online game distribution company.
Normally I'd be with Wylo on this one, but I'm with Bahamut.
Why? Not because I love monopolies, but in this case, a monopoly favours the CONSUMER.
If there's only one major DLable game service (which alas there isn't, BTW, Wylo... there's already at least 3 other major "DL games from here" services, some of which have games that Steam doesn't, like Fallout 1 and Fallout 2)... then all the game producers/publishers that want their games available in DLable form have to go through that one monopoly, and we can get all the games we want from ONE place.
Right now, if I got all the games I want online, I'd have to sign up for two more things besides Steam, and that blows.
So instead, I just settle for not having all the games I want. :::shrugs:::

May I suggest someone else? Not necessarily someone-else, just not me. Or if you're dead set on this revenge thing you guys could break into teams to better optimize your revenge getting.
I suggest someone-else. I take getting my revenge for users that passed me in a stat seriously. NG stats are serious business.
LOL.

I'm sure he's quaking in his boots now. But I'm with ya, man. I am definitely with you on this one, it's right up there with demanding MP Fallout from Bethesda. #;-}>
Fuck them they think Epic movies are funny. The old fossils don't like comedies let them watch westerns and soaps. Oh and I found a funny Colbert medic I posted. I should have dugged it but I am not creating an account neither for twitter facebook or stumbleupon.
Yeah. Damned Conan haters. As for the Colbert Medic, yes, I've seen a spray of him in TF2 once.
I read things on digg, but I won't sign up for an account either. Same for Twitter.
I don't even read things on Facebook because their site is designed to be unfriendly for non-account holders (at least digg and twitter work well enough for us without having to sign up, I'll give them that).
As for stumbleupon, I actually signed up there like way back in 2002 or something, back when it was kinda a random URL roulette service (like URouLette back in the 1990s, that just took you to a random URL every time you loaded their page from your bookmarks, that was a great site).... but then it became one of many "cool" "web 2.0" social networking sites. Bleh. I don't use it anymore.
My girl used del.i.c.i.o..u.s.... (whatever) a bit, and she's a LiveJournal user, but aside from that, we manage to keep most of that crap out of our humble abode.
Well DD is close to DoD. He could be called DragonofDoctor hence DoD as a nickname.
Yeah, but I'm more concerned about his "WHERE IZ DA UPDATE?" semi-whining behaviour being similar to DoD's, not his name's initials being similar to DoD's.
No need for teams exactly, I've already told you how I'm going to go about taking you down... mwahahahaha. :::turns back to his schemes, the current one being to get a hot supermodel to sex you up for a few months and keep you away from your depostering:::
I am going with sticking with framing them with rape and murder one. I will have the hot supermodel killed by some black guy. Sending him to maximum security prison.
Brutal but effective.
You have to admit that Blizzard/Ice would go really nicely with Valve/Steam in the "clever product naming" department, though. #;-}>
Nah Oerho sounds better than Ice. Oreo(r) Nabisco Kraft, and Phillips Morris USA blizzard are the best. I think Steam Valve is better than anything Blizzard could think of.
... Oreo as in the Oreo Blizzard from Dairy Queen? Harrrrr. #;-}>
