And most of the people who have been slightly let down are people who were only on ONE update of the list (the last big one), and now will have to wait a long time to see their second update. You, as you noted, have "been on that list for awhile," so it's not like you got snatched away from it right after you got put on it, like some people did. And you'll be BACK on it before those people are.

So... really, you sound like a spoiled kid who had his desert taken away for one week while some other kids are chained up in basements with nothing but bread to eat for 2 months. IOW, making a big deal out of very little compared to the situation for hundreds of people with < 7.33 VP.

As you said, a rankup will cure your problem.

no, and for the followowing reasons.

1. It takes lots of effort so the person who is nice enough to do the list only does it every week or two, and thats if they arnt sick of it.

2. they posted one 4 days ago, the exp taken has moved up say.... .30 since then at max for 98% of the users.

yeah, the chances of him getting to 6.00 by just depositing before he ranks up are quite low, unless he lives up to his moniker by getting like 5 b/p a day or something. #;-}>

Just take the amount of b/p till you get to EGPFC currently, SlowBro, and then divide by the average amount you get per day lately, and you'll have the number of days till you rankup and get 6.00.

It was just that lightning often either complains that a list is updated too soon and thus not enough has changed (I think he once said that in the blam or saves list topic) or he complains that it's been too long since the update.

The updates come when they come, and I get a bit tired of having to remind people that I can't update it perfectly to every single person's schedule. I do it when I find the time, when I feel like it, when something happens that makes me want to update it, or when I know I've been slacking and it's been too long. But I have to decide that for myself.

I used Nemesis' VP calc to check you and staphita... and then also for Crono and Recon. And Staphita was higher than you... and Recon was higher than Crono.

I don't do that for any ties below 10.00, usually, but I want to make sure that the top 25 or so is super accurate since it's the cream of the crop.

In any event, he's only ahead of you by a tiny little amount, man. 0.002 or something.

Just rankup before he does and you'll be all set.

Woo, gained a spot without ranking up, and have 7.75 all to myself. Didn't think there would have been another update before I rank up, but it's always welcome. The 0.12 and a bit I get from hitting rank 14 will help matters, cut the chase to 8 in half.

As I said a week or so ago, I'm going to be updating this list way more often than the other three main lists... from now on.

The shorter 7.50+ format makes it easy to do. Good luck on chasing that rankup.
