Lost to Vancouver as well, but we pwned Phoenix last night, so we're still looking good. Budaj looked good too for his first start of the year. Only let 1 by him.

You're getting ahead of yourself again. We will win more games than last season, that's not guaranteed, but you've got to feel positive about the steps that this very young team and young coach have made.

Of course I feel positive, but deep down, every true fan wants to go undefeated 30 years in a row. :P I'm stoked about this year, but a loss is a loss, and they hurt just the same. I'm not being ungrateful. Haha. Leaps and bounds ahead of what I expected us to be.

That sums up my season for the Fantasy Hockey at present. I'm stuck to the bottom of the league and only Cam Ward is a regular starting Goalie for me. Perhaps I should release the whole team and start again, with a class of rookies.

2-2 so far this month, 2-3 if you count the game before it. Definitely hit a cold streak. It could be a lot worse though. We've got Chicago tonight. Growing up in Illinois and liking the Avs, the Blackhawk/Av rivalry is by far the most passionate one for me, even over the Devils and Red Wings. Nothing makes me happier than beating Chicago. :P We did it last week, and hopefully we can take a win tonight and carry some momentum out of it. We've looked sloppy as of late. Still got the division lead though, so there's not to much to complain about.

Game on. Lets fucking win this shit.

I'm watching a Panthers home game against the Kings and man, I always knew they had poor attendance but there's literally less than half the seats full. It's so sad to watch nobody even looks like they care, and most of the people in the seats are just Canadians on vacation.

I know what you mean Canas. The Avs got beat 8-2 in Denver the other night, and the crowd didn't make a noise the whole time they were going down. No trying to motivate the team, nothing. They just sat there and watched us get slaughtered. We've lost 5 of the last 7 now. The fuck.

Florida should just move the franshise to Winnipeg, or somewhere where Hockey actually belongs and let the Rednecks have their NASCAR.

For real Bettman is a fucking failure. He seems not to know anything about anything, least of all hockey, and second least of all the business of hockey.

I can't remember the actual specifics of the statistic, but I read something along the lines of: the Winnipeg Jets didn't lose as much money, their whole stay in the NHL, as Phoenix has lost in the last couple of seasons. What a fucking genius move that was. Let's put a winter sport franchise... that requires ice... in the FUCKING DESERT.

Would you object if Phoenix moved to Vegas? Since you're moving from a desert to a desert, we might as well make it a like-for-like deal.

What would you call them? You can't use the Kings, since they're already in LA. What else is Vegas famous for, besides Elvis impersonators and Burlesque performers. I'm sure the Vegas Strippers would go down a treat.

We've got to compete with Rookie of the Year candidate in James van Riemsdyk and the Flyers this evening. Should be an interesting tilt, as the Flyers are 12-7-1 against out 13-7-3

Also, what about Gaborik and Stamkos? Stamkos is on a tear at the moment and both of these guys look capable of beating their career bests for Goals Scored.

Should be great fun to see if they actually do that.
