legal age in more countries than not, the UK is the same, 16 and you're fine to do whateveer you please by law in that department

in my state, at least, there must be greater than a 4 year age difference. not sure about canada, though. Don't worry about it- it's totally reasonable for you to date someone two years younger.

Basically, it's not going to end up as something to your liking, most likely.

Most girls of that age are very impressionable, and will do things they think is right at the moment, but regret later on. Now this can go both ways, to your liking, or otherwise. The one I was with was a girl I had known for years, one I trusted and had put a lot of hope into.. I was younger at the time as well, so of course I had a bit of stupidity as we all do at that age, but still..

My suggestion is to take everything with a grain of salt, never fully believe everything you hear, from her and others, and never, and I mean NEVER, put your entire heart into a relationship at your age.. as you said, you're not expecting it to last forever, but the least you can do is be on your toes about things, but still enjoy it at the same time.

It is two extremes, but it's also my only real suggestion to you on the matter.

Where I live, there's a 2 year difference rule for those under 18. However, I have a friend who's 'fooling around' with a 15 year old and he's 18. He says he started it first, but still, you really have to be the adult and say 'no' in that situation. That young you're still developing and don't know what you want.
