Can someone tell me exactly how you get the medal called "NEVER GIVE UP" in the game "Echoes: Act 1"?

Just got it earlier, you just need to play Survival 15 times then wait a little bit until Yuki's message pops up (you need to be ingame). Oh and you can quit while your in the game and it counts it, makes it more easier.

I'm having trouble with survival mode on wizard's run. What spells did you guys have when you got 550? I cant seem to get a good balance. I've not reached the 500s yet.

Haha. It would have been near impossible without the contra clue. I actually found the other one harder due to what I presume to be a bug after finding it. I'll PM details if it is a bug.
