when i was in grade five he was diagnosed with cancer
thanks to radiation to get rid of the cancer his taste buds were pretty much destroyed and he can now barely taste anything.
two years ago or so he got an aneurism
because of that aneurism they had to stick tubes down his throat to get rid of the blood, and it hurts for him to speak or eat. and when he does speak you can barely hear him, it's a raspy noise.
the cancer which we thought we had beaten came back
last year was horrid. he got all these different kinds of viruses and illnesses, about 6 major ones that damn near killed him, and three minor ones, all but two put him into the hospital.
because of medical drug overdose or side effects he had to be hospitalized about six different times.
all that combined he was in the hospital for more than half of the year, we have almost been to every single hospital in the lower mainland.
because of all that time spent in the hospital, mainly in beds, my dad lost most of his leg strength and can now barely walk. we have to have someone monitoring him whenever hes up.
he sleeps the majority of the day. because of medicinal side effects
he hasn't been to work for three to four years now. he misses it.
just a couple days ago he was hospitalized for a strep illness. this illness is bringing him really close to death, and just today he had an out of body experience, which happens mainly when someone is about to die. but he pulled through.
is my dad the unluckiest person alive?
Sig made by me
Once again i'm falling down a mountain like a metaphor
