I thought of just drawing a rectangular object around the stage, changing it to a movie clip and then just doing what i normally do. But when i test scene everythings cut out on the left. So now im thinking i don't get it, i realise you can play about with the sise's of movie clips but is the way im doing it actually correct?.
if you're doing exactly what you say you're doing, then there shouldnt be a problem..
step 1: set stage to 720x480
step 2: draw box the same size as the stage (either use the magnet tool or use *align* to align 4 *lines* onto the 4 sides of the stage to create a perfect box.
step3: turn box into movieclip.
step4: animate inside that box
if you're having real trouble setting it up PM me and I'll make you a template to get started

juat forget about that... nobody can make a street fighter movie that doesn't look like a japanese freak cosplay, nobody, because, for a game, the characters are awesome, but if you make a movie in which you dive deeper and deeper into a character that fought a bear to get a better beard (Zangief's back story) and fights with a tong, pr any other of the Street Fighter's stupid back stories, you're screwed, so yeah, there go our childhoods...
Hi, I wanted to ask a little thing: as everybody here with at least a quarter the intelligence of a hippo, we are not allowed to make sprite movies, and I know that, but I was thinking if I cold make a little pixelated movieclip of a character so that you roll the mouse over the "Select your character" box, the movieclip appears, as in the real game?
Thank you very much!
no sprites huh, well I'll give it my sunday best

Hopefully i put the time in to get it finished :D
I don't have any flash skill and i'm too lazy to think of ideas... but this youtube video is full of random clips from the street fighter cartoon; i'm sure someone can think of something from that

There's also a volume 2... but find it yourself

I've probably missed that part but can you submit more than 1 (not that anybody will be able to make 2 that are even GOOD but I'm just wondering if its possible).

I'm not 100% on this but I think we'd prefer AS2 if that's possible.

Yeh I've figured there might be problems with AS3 but I've already gotten used to bones and using the 3d effect is also always stylish and the way the new tweens work but yeh I guess better use AS2 unless somebody can confirm AS3 is no problem.
What about submitting two shorts? YES/NO?

What if you converted the swf to something that they could just stick in there so that it plays as an embedded video but you can still keep the same effects and stuff?
Wasn't too happy with my other pet, :(
so i drew my IDEAL pet.
She's called GUNNY.
She comes in eggs, and her mouth contains a rather large gun.
Handy.

Wrong thread, homey, go here.
If we were to use the V-Cam, would that make it more difficult for you to import it into the collab .fla?

converting it all to single keys also fixes the problem but im surprised stamper sees all this but doesnt answer the question if you can submit more than one

Errm.. If you want to join, first make the collab peice, then submit it to collab@newgrounds.com
Read the first page of this thread.
I will be Joining but I dont wanna post any pictures until its done. Is that cool?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but this is a pretty active thread and I'm hoping to get an answer soon.
I've had a problem with flash for a while. I will draw something out with the brush, and when I go to deselect the picture or fill it in with color, whole chuncks of the image disappear. This problem seems to arrise every time I really begin to make progress on my part, and the stress from it is causing me to vomit stomach acid all over me desk area.
So yeah, it's a real nuisance. Any solutions?

Happens to me too. Probably a glitch in flash. Change your shape to a MovieClip and then do what you gotta do then CTRL + B it when done with the other stuff. Other than that idk.
