umm i think its about time for some sort of update. ill be posting my oil painting in a week or two but for now just enjoy these i guess.
here is a bundle of 4 original sketches i drew up for some kind of assignment thing.

i had to play around with the brightness and contrast quite a bit for them to actually be visible.

another sketch thing, its a crab-apple.

here is another thing.

all of these took me about 30minutes each.

i thought an update was needed.

got some projects in the works, 2 paintings, a colored pencil sketch, some calligraphy maybe.
might be done with my oil today, maybe not. in either case the project is nearing completion.

anyway here is a small pencil works WIP.
its part of a much larger piece but this is pretty much the only part worth looking at. about 5% done here.

sorry the paper is a bit too big and i had to ease back to make the whole image visible.

if you want any close ups ill be happy to provide them.

finished work. here is a charcoal, took an hour or two. sourced from an image projected up on the board.

i dont remember her name, what was it... damn. mental block.

Looks pretty interesting, and it has a nice "candylike" coloring. Almost edible. I had hoped for a slightly stronger shading to the, hm, mountain the house sit's on, since the sun is blazing on that certain direction towards it.

thanks for your sweet comment (get it?). i think you are right about the shading, it is a bit too light. however, im not going to give you any excuses, im just going to try to keep your criticism in mind when trying to attempt something like this in the future. thank you :D

yey! its finally complete! my first oil painting. took me a while to finish and i am so proud of myself. its loosely based on a pastel by Leslie Benjamin De Mille, havnt found any images of it yet but i am still searching.

anyways, like i said, this took me a lot of work and is basically the best i can do. please leave me some text.

lol i brought it in 3 days ago and it still hasnt dried, oil paint rocks so much!

ps: sorry about the flash, i couldnt work my sister's high tech, professional new camera.

umm here is a small picture update.

its a boat, i sourced it from some image that i found on google, but cant seem to find now. (help is appreciated)

so yea im going to have a lot more paintings coming up during the vacation. ORIGINAL ones hopefully.

That's really good. Your use of color is pretty damn good on that one.
