Made as a not very serious test for some stuff. It's a bit of a mess. Did it back in March, but forgot about it and am just uploading it since I'm not looking to work on it now. I replaced a couple of soundfonts and added tiny things, but didn't go very much into detail fixing it. There's just a lot of chaos that'd be hard to sort out with this one without completely redoing the whole song. :T

Great Job! This really reminds me of "Legend of Zelda" for some reason, I am thinking like skyward sword. I would not say that this is a mess by any means, the ending is a bit weird, I feel like there should be a part two?

The mix was great all the instruments sound really good together. Your melodies and transition are spot on. I would love to see this in a game. The only thing that stood out to me as sounding out of place was the "lo vocal" track, it just sounded a bit too fake.

I actually didn't think about it, but I can see some of where Zelda might come through with this. I was probably subconsciously influenced by it, heh. I had the ending at the start of the song at first, but it kind of didn't lead where I was hoping for it to go. I still wanted to test the effects that these beautiful violin soundfonts could produce, however, so I tried to work it into the song. I can definitely see where you would think that the piece ends a bit oddly. Honestly, I just couldn't come up with anything else, I suppose xP

I'm surprised to hear that you thought the mix was serviceable. I was very limited to the number of tracks that I could make, so dynamics and general mixing suffered for it. Some of the instruments just stick out a bit sorely to me as well. I definitely know what you mean about the low choir sound. it's from Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra, and it isn't exactly stellar quality. Good choir libraries cost a lot these days! You make the best of what you've got, though, right?

Nice work! Yeah, it's not fully polished, but it is enjoyable to listen to and you've got some pretty cool effects and stuff mixed in there. The violin is beautiful.

You like 'em? That's 8Dio Adagio strings, and they're simply amazing (I am a sucker for anything 8Dio). I did this just to try them out and built some random stuff around it. The disparity between good and 'meh' soundfonts is huuuuuge, though. The good soundfonts are CPU killers, too, so I had to put all of my percussion on one channel and cut back on the quality of vsti that I used for other instruments. I'd say it was worth it, though. I absolutely adore the quality of the violins.
