Hey there, here's my submission for the RAC, representing France for the second time after missing first place by merely ONE point.

This one might not please everyone, as it is perhaps a bit hard to listen for inexperienced auditors. I wanted to study modern harmony, so I took it to myself to reach around the whole internet to find the thickest studies I could find.

In any case, I mostly based this piece around the same research from last time, considering it's the same country, so here's the link to last time's research:

another part that's important to mention is that the intro is based around the melody of a French nursery rhyme called "Au Claire de la Lune":

First Impression, really, really really reminds me of france... especially the "Chateau Scenario"

J'aime bien le fait que l'intro est une version tordue d'Au Clair de la Lune :3

Otherwise, having grown up hearing this style regularly played (in classes and in rooms next to me), it actually brings back childhood memories hearing those harmonies again. <3

There are some very impressive skills in composing this piece both musical and technical but like you said it is hard to listen and probably wont get you as far as in the RAC6.
Good luck with RAC7!
