trecking through a dark forest....

Having aleady decided upon this for the Katakana games, I hope I don't have to mention that I love this track. Should go without saying.

The wailing kinda reminds me of ghosts whilst the sorta tribal drums makes me feel like I'm walking through a big jungle exploring stuff. Maybe it's dark. Maybe kinda scary. But I know it'll be safe.

The wailing kinda sounds like crazy animals for a while.

What is the lady saying. Did you get that sample somewhere or did you ask someone to voice it for you? All I can make out is 'natasha'.

I love how your tunes have a very distinct mood. High originality marks, natasha!

Hey there - I didn't even notice that I hads a new review... I wish this system would give some indicator when new remarks were present. :(

Thanks for the feedback! I'm really glad that you liked this track.

The singing is from the
ILONA!: Universal Female Vocal Toolkit

Decent collection consisting of just a ton of female vox - some have words some don't - As far as what they are I honestly couldn't tell you :D They may be saying "the person who made this track sucks" for all I know... heh... Most of the vocals that resemble speech are either various bits and clips in 4 or 5 languages or they are a slurred together mix of all of the above.

Thanks!

latindub

ooo latin dub, very strange. smooth mood to this one. the wailey synth is nice too. nice rhythmical changes, the first step up to doubletime makes the bassline roll really nice. then the break back to a blockrocking sort of beat is subtle but effective.

same criticism for this as for alot of yours. nice loop but not too much progression. nonetheless a really solid loop.

perhaps a little too much reverb washing around?

LJCoffee responds:

:D

Well - there were plenty of mistaked in there - glitches (the UNintentional kind) and what-not.

Not a huge fan of this track.

Good

It seemed to have a wierd jungle type rythm I don't know why. One thing I don't understand is why is it called echo location?

LJCoffee responds:

Depends on how long you listened I guess... There's an acho on the vocals - and well... ummm... so I called it Echo Location.. :)

Missing

Your music is original and is appreciated by me. This song is missing something to go with it it almost leaves you hanging with a need for more. It is well mixed but in some parts it seems to skip intrentional or not it did not really fit with the overall flow of the song.

LJCoffee responds:

Probably just production errors - this was an earlier piece so it really wasn't great.

Thanks though! - I'm glad you like my submissions!

Cool dude!

Your really talented in mixing samples. I liked the bassline, simple, but keeps the track catchy. You should have better putted this in the ambient area, I think that would be the right place for it.

4/5.

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks - sorry it took so long to respond - if only NG would hook it up so that we would know when new reviews have been left!

I'll humbly take the compliments - I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and have a listen!
