So back in late September, I held a vote involving a small selection of some "sexy ladies" that I've been asked to draw at some point or another. NG and DevianART users voted on which one they wanted me to draw, and after about a week, I tallied all of the results and, voila! Here is the winner!
Yoko Ritona from Tengen Toppa Gurren.
(second was a tie between Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop), Midna (LoZ) and Sheva from RE5.)

Really well done! Simple and HOT and really well done! Only thing i gotta say is that her left foot and lower leg seem a bit odd. Just kind of where it is and the angle. Not really that noticable but you know... just thoughts to keep in your mind for your future stuff

but its a pretty good peice of art because the sniper was drawn to scale backround came out nice and thanks for telling me the characthers name and where they come from (ill look it up later)

I really like this! You should make more Yoko art! The only thing i can say is that-Well im not sure what it is, the best way too discribe it is...hmm, It doesnt exactly have a Yoko feel to it, This is just my oppinion but i think yokos a bit...Clueless i guess 0_0, If you understand what im saying good because i dont. HAHA
another wonderfull work... not sure about the angle of the legs and feet as they look slightly akward... but has your great style and colouring... 10/10!

Great depictiopn of Yoko. I only give you a nine because of the face, honestly. The body proportions and shading are awesome: you have real talent.
The face looks too American drawn, if you ask me. That said, the face IS acceptable, and also well drawn.
I would suggest a facelift, and a little more definition on the stockings. The flames on the boots, too, look a little off. That might just be my imagination, though.

Great art. The initial look gives it a cartoonish feel, and the eyes amplify this effect. But you don't have to stick to just hot chicks, although I think I and most other people would like that, you should start making more artsy things. Yes artsy, it's a word look it up. Two thumbs up bro.
You have clearly got some great skills, attention to detail, color, form, anatomy.
But, the subject matter man, "hot" chicks? It is just banal, it is unworthy of your obvious talents. There have got to be more profound subjects to work on.
Maybe try reading some Crowley or something, there are greater depths to plumb.

I support all Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann art that's good. You adapt her to your style, which is a plus, despite the fact that her face looked a little strange to me at first. You definitely didn't ruin her, though.

You did a great job with the details again, the pink panties, white boots, the large and short gloves and color eyes. Sad that you dont put the hair skull, is a great accesory, but the angle make it imposible see it.
Nices shadows with the torso, in the rib box.
I give you a 9 because the face dont look so equal to the anime, i dont know if in the english version they changes some details. but this is my justification.

In the English version, they call it "Tengen toppa Gurren"????
because i see it in the japanese version and is called "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann", is just a detail, but get me curious.

Something really frightening happened today when I got home. Mom and Rachel were playing some weird game, and then they whipped out Cadoo and I HAD to play, and Liam joined in, and sometimes dad would yell out answers too. We were all sitting at the table playing together. D: I T WAS UNCOMFORTABLE
Im not sure wat to say other than good job. I think the facial expression should be more of a tough-girl kind of smile, but nice job on the body and sniper (the most impoprtant parts) ;)

Your art always has lots of detail to it. The only reason this isn't a ten is because there are so many pieces featuring her looking as if she's gonna bust out of her clothing already that it's almost a Newgrounds cliche. I agree though that that's one impressive gun.

Good choice for the sketch, it turned out quite well. This entire thing looks like it belongs in a professional Graphic Novel. So while she may not look Manga styled, its very much your own, and its very good. That's all I have.
Well, I see that you picked sketch #1 after all, and it doesn't look bad.
Everything seems to be in place (except the 0-gravity boobs), the colouring is nice, although she could use more details.
The one big complaint that I have is that...well, don't get angry, but she doesn't really look like Yoko...or maybe like Yoko if she was European.
But that stuff is for Gurren Lagann fanboys, and since l never bothered to watch the show I'm not gonna take that into account...
I dunno, maybe you didn't want to make her manga-ey...anyway, nice work.
