I enjoy images that convey peace.
Although I do believe this idea was expressed in a children's book.
But I cannot recall the name.
Old picture unearthed from the depths of a USB drive. Seeing this makes me realize how much I miss my tablet... should really check if that thing is compatible with a Mac.
This was originally made a couple years ago for a deviantART contest promoting peace. The version submitted over there had some red letters that smacked you over the head and flat out told you the message, as though you couldn't figure it out on your own. Took that element out. Definitely an improvement. I had a lot of fun making this picture, and experimented with using the gradient tool in Photoshop for shading.
Medium: Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 + Wacom Graphire Tablet (I really, really, REALLY miss that thing...)

It's probably not an uncommon idea. I feel like kids occur a lot in peace promotions. Odds are, someone put children next to a tank that's been out of commission for a while before I did :P If you ever remember the name of that book, please let me know. I'd be interested in seeing it.
Hmmm
Thats not peace,
Thats McKids.
Apparently, when I draw cartoon kids they look like the participants of a "Jimmy Neutron takes the Magic School Bus to McDonald's for lunch" kind of thing.
Kinda cute in a way!
I like the kids all happy while the Tank is old and vines growing out of it. Kind of looks like it would go for a shcool poster contest...Speaking of is that girl in the overalls Cindy Vortex from Jimmy Neutron?Lol naaah. Other then that it was pretty good!
Now that you mention it, she kinda does look like Vortex... Oops. Did not mean to do that at all. But now I really wanna throw in a short kid with a big head :D
love it
it sort of look like the kids from magic school plus i love the tank colors
Oh wow they kinda do... For some reason, that scares me XD glad you like it though.
