This is the second of three art pieces I did for my Horror film class at SVA, taught by Roy Frumkes. For our visual project to present on the day of the final class, we had to do up to three fully-rendered pieces of characters and scenarios related to the movies we saw.
Here of course we've got Drac. This one isn't exclusively based on Bela Lugosi or Christopher Lee, but does have a few elements of Nosferatu, with the skinnier build. Tried to go with a limited palette of colors, making it looks more like a typical digital illustration, but still with some interested aspects to it. People seem to dig the bats, the dripping blood and Dracula's little bow-tie. Did this one in Flash, to give it a distinctive feel from the rest.
Love the color concept
Yeah I would have to say that the color idea and concept of red/black was very nice and you meshed it out perfectly, seemed to come out just right, even the "WHITES" came out good. now as for any details to improve on I think I would leave this one as is. you did great here.

I admit that this wasn't great, but I still enjoyed it. This seemed to remind me of some of the "Parody Rangers" stuff. It was just something that was pretty unique. I really do like claws. I guess this wasn't even so much claws as horns. I just like pointed stuff.
I'm glad to review this and inform you that Christopher Lee has passed away. It was amazing the sheer number of roles he was in. It's wonderful that people pay tribute at all to such a talented man. Again, this is October! The blood is done very well.

Simple yet complex... Your very good, you should do very detailed pictures because the thick white lines are not that great in my own opinion
