I've got to agree with most of the previous comments. Repetitive sounds and lame axe-waving are some of the major problems. (to the guy commenting about the penacle: it may be a symbol of protection, but so is the swastika, nothing prevents an evil person from wearing it, and who says the Necro was evil anyway?) As for the writing, some people say it's good, others think it's bad. I like the general plot, but some lines were overly cheesy while others worked very well. I liked the comment about the horse being 'the only one he could trust'. Also, in one magic spell, the guy's head is crushed, but you call it 'Cranial Combustion'... combustion means to light something on fire. I believe the word you were looking for is 'implosion. Finally, there are a few embarrassing spelling errors (waisting my time) that Spellcheck won't help. Get someone who's an English wiz to look the words over before you submit the next one. Oh, and try to work on the shape of the Necro's cloak, when he is turning, it shouldn't be flat. Ok... that's about it... looking forward to the next one!
