Hmmm.....
I likes me yer drawin' style there, kid. Yeh've got a gud eye fer pencil'n in them's peoples.
......ANYwho, now that THAT's out of my system, I like your art. You seem to have a talent for drawing, and you should exploit it. However, you're gonna need more than what you have here.
I'm hoping this will stick around, because you can add a lot to this. As you've already noticed, it could use some sound. And, as you learn flash, you can begin to add some snazzy effects to each of the character showings, as well as maybe some interactivity.
In my mind, an art show is fine; I wouldn't mind it. But, you cannot make it an art SLIDE show, or else its boring. Make it look cool. Like Billy Flinn said in Chicago, "Razzle Dazzle 'em, and they'll make you a star." So, you need to razzle dazzle us.
Some suggestions would be to create several poses for each character. Keep the standing pose that you have, perhaps create an action pose or two, the respective character's fighting stance, as well as a few emotion poses; kinda like they do in an Anime commercial. Now with this, add some flashy transition effects (e.g., a sword slash in the screen for Cloud, a bullet spray for Barret, etc.), as well as a catchy event or stream sound (perhaps something upbeat like a DDR song, or something relevant like the Crazy Motorcycle Chase song) in the background. It wouldn't hurt if the poses and transitions were made to sync up with the sections of song (kinda like a music video). Just with these, you already have something thats worth watching.
For a good example, take a look at Rockman Neo, ID number 76478. This movie is a lot like something you could create, in a stylistic sense.
Sorry this is so long, but I see a lot that can be done with this. Keep working at it!
BTW: In an art sense, Tifa needs to look less like a wimp, and Aeris needs to look less like a man. Tifa was a badass, and needs to have that fighter look to her, and Aeris' shoulders are WAY too broad for a female. Just a suggestion!
