Reviews for "Orpheus: The Rock Musical"

I smell an Oscar nomination...

The plot line really tugged at my heart strings. The casting was superb. The graphics even better. This is should be number one in the top ten. I wonder though, how did you get courtney love to do her own voice???
Anyhoo, keep up the fantastic work, and please, please, please let there be future works in store.

rvyn responds:

Props go to Michael Bisberg for his super awesome voice work. I've always got something in store, and it's always different from one another.

nice rvyn

you make some nice crap, why did you stop making alivejournals? those were bad ass. keep that shit comming

rvyn responds:

the last two upcoming episodes of aLiveJournal will answer the question of why I stopped making aJ's. Thanks for the review.

That Bitch!

Awesome... This movie really went straight into my heart... And my favourites! I really hope that it will be daily feature!

rvyn responds:

woohoo!

Awesome

I have no idea what everyone is griping about, but I think you put a lot of effort into this movie, and it deserves a 5. I thought the story was great, the animation superb, and everything else just flawless. The only thing that bugged me were the mouths on the heads were blurred. That's it. Other than that this movie is great.

rvyn responds:

The mouths were blurred so the fake mouths could be put on top of it and not get in the way of each other. i understand that at some points when they aren't talking at all the characters have no mouths, and for that i have no excuse but to say that i was lazy.

im4kcmo is an asshole

Ok first of all, the spalling is "patience" not patients (a doctor is something you'll never be). Second, if you don't have the PATIENCE to sit through the intro why even bother rate the movie? Third, where the hell are your "Goldmine" movies? Hmm. . . last time I checked you didn't have any. I love slow witted people *SIGHS*
Anyway, excellent job. The only prob was in some parts the volume seemed to go down a bit and it was hard to hear.

rvyn responds:

the sounds were definiely the hard part throughout the entire production. first of all, the majority of the voices were done by two people, so we had to strain to get them to sound as different as possible. secondly, for some reason the computer mic couldn't pick up sounds well at all, but we didn't realize this and picked up the camcorder to record with until half the voices were already recorded... basically, if anything sounds clear, it was recorded with a camcorder mic. if it was shitty, it was recorded with the computer mic. thanks for the review.
