pulling every card from the deck of many things.....SOLO.....and somehow still not only existing, but THRIVING is the most terrifying thing I have ever heard.
Did that actually happen in a game? Whoever was the Dungeon Master, they know how to have a good time.

Not exactly like this, but I once had a vampire monologue about how badass he was for like 5 minutes straight while being completely oblivious to the traps the players were setting around him, only to have him die in 1 round once they set off. If shenanigans are brewing, I can't help but go along. My inability to take anything seriously is my biggest flaw and biggest strength as a DM.
