I got defeated at the part where spikey undead moose brought his two long-armed bodyguards to impale and slap me respectively. When I retried to get back onto that level, the attack bar on those "bodyguards" were already half-full, giving me less time to impale to moose trying to impale me.

I gotta say though. Great game overall.

Reply: I went and played through the entire game again after you messaged me. Gave me some sort of motivation to try again. I wanted to see if I could beat it without the shortcut and I surprisingly did. Though, the boss still gave me dread when I came back to beat its butt. Nice job on the game :)

That is most unfortunate, their starting action points are randomised but in a rare case that could happen.

Did you manage to defeat them in the end? If not and you would like a second try, send me a message, and I'll set you up right before the final boss.

Basically that's how it went. Even though I'll have to change my pants, I enjoyed this game! Is very cool indeed, and the sounds are excellent (and I LOVE a game with fine sounds). Amazing work! I hope to see more in the future! ;)

just because you developed this on a 640x480 resolution monitor doesn't mean you need to make it everyone else's problem.

It has been described to me as twinkie-esque, but if I had to say, I think of it more as.. twinkie-adjacent.

You might not have noticed, but right under the controls there is a short note saying:

Yo, it was tricky but got to the final encounter of this build, and got myself out of the forest. Can't wait for more build updates. I'm into it.
