Reviews for "Forest Shack ( Prototype )"

once you get a hang of critical attacking perfectly with every special shot it gets easier and if the creator ever makes a squeal to this game i really hope to see more strategy like with the last fight choosing what to kill first and last and timing your heals while fighting multiple bosses at once.

HatiValcoran responds:

A sequel is indeed in the works! You can see the details in the news page in my profile.

But you will be happy to know that right now the focus is in making far more intense combat.

There's a bug - once you purchase a bandaid, you can just spam the mouse button and it will give you as many as you want, without having to actually pay for them! To be honest, though, I don't think the game is beatable without that expliot! That zomibe moose is waay over-powered!

HatiValcoran responds:

Oh dear deer me, I could of sworn having fixed this all the way to when I first made the merchant.

You can kill the -perfectly normal- moose with as little as one single bandage if you upgraded your bow, but you must steel your nerves and keep your aim steady, land those critical hits!

Thank you for your comment, the bug is fixed, and I hope you had fun.

This is awesome. I love the complete lack of music in an unsettling atmosphere. The art is awesome too

HatiValcoran responds:

I'm happy you liked it, I tried my best to make a compelling atmosphere.

The atmosphere here is spot on great job

HatiValcoran responds:

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.

the game has a somber atmosphere with perfectly harmonized degrees of suspense, the atmosphere contributes so that even if you have a way to defend yourself you feel weak in the face of the unknown, i won't talk about plostwist because of the spoiler but congratulations your game is amazing

HatiValcoran responds:

Thank you, doorofhell, most of my efforts went towards crafting the atmosphere. I hope that when the second comes along, you enjoy it just as much.
