Ok, this is great!

(how to get the Be A Friend medal, does it have to do with coffee? Also not all of them updated after I'd finished the game)

I really wanted to play this game but the game never loads and there is just a gray blue screen, which never move, i already tried to restart my browser and the page but nothing happened, sorry for my bad english...

does anybody know how to leave Sams TV

Charming, but very disappointing.

This is a decent RPG game that I've enjoyed quite a bit, mostly thanks to well-done art with various polishing tidbits (like additional bits of dialogue every chapter, though they don't add anything substantial usually) here and there and good character designs, which are quite diverse, with their own fonts, and all that. I also dig the music and general sound design. While the story is passable (the aliens experimenting on a bunch of elderly folks no one really cares about, especially with some space lazors involved, sounds like fun for all parties involved), the premise of them taking away "color", or happiness from people, is good, and reminds me a bit of Mortis Ghost's OFF, one of my favourite games of all time, but instead, you're the one bringing color back.

While the game is carried by the premise and the characters, the gameplay of the game is very weak. In particular, the core gameplay loop essentially consists of fetch quests of various magnitude and applying items in correct order with correct individuals. There's only one puzzle in the whole goddamn game - the Sam's TV one, and even the puzzle in question was trivial (and even then, the old fart just outright says the solution to the puzzle!), so the game poses absolutely no challenge whatsoever. The final level's artificial timeout (which is 4 minutes, despite the bishop guy clearly saying that it's 5) is absolutely pointless, since you can get the key very swiftly. The suspense of the incoming monster in the third chapter was way better at imposing some pressure. Attacking in the game with only, strictly speaking, one type of enemy, feels like an afterthought. Really hope that the game included some boss battles or other antagonists. But even still, the worst designed aspect of the game are the guards.

I just don't get why they were included in the first place. They are not a threat, since you are guaranteed to outrun them, and their attack is incredibly slow, so you will never ever get hit, even in the final level. Attacking them is absolutely pointless, since they won't be stunned or even shunned by your puny geriatric punches. The worst part is that they attack you during conversations or menus if they're aggravated, so you need to shake them off first, which takes some time, especially in the first corridor, or near the elevator. So they are a bit of a hindrance and a huge annoyance. Them being very easy to get away from makes using medicine completely pointless. In the final level, while there's a metric shit ton (an official SI unit) of them, you can just stack them up and punch them all clean in two-three hits (and you do need to do this, mind you, since having too many of them on the screen at once lags your computer), so what's the point.

The game is also riddled with bugs. Most of them have to do with the inventory. The most annoying one was the multiplication of some items (the remote and the key card) upon restarting the level. At one point, the copies of them were clogging my inventory and, since you couldn't get rid of them, i couldn't use the key in the final level, causing me to restart the whole game. Oh yeah, the checkpoints weren't saved for me for some reason (they were fine when i had to restart the second time due to the same glitch). Sometimes there will be empty spots in the inventory, and sometimes the items will not be added to the inventory when it's full, so my advice is: IMMEDIATELY GET RID OF ALL THE MEDICINE, you won't really need it anyway. I got the Kwan the suicidal guy achievement by mashing the action button near him, though i assume you'll need to talk to him in every chapter in order to get it properly. The videos in the TV puzzle lagged for me just a bit. You'll get softlocked, unable to move, in the fourth chapter if you'll try to talk to Ayako for the second time, causing you to restart the level (and getting your inventory clogged up). The alien encounter didn't play for me after restarting the level in question (after dying on purpose just to see what'll happen). Obviously bugs will slip though one way or another, but consider playtesting your games more thoroughly in the future.

Overall, in a stealth-action game without even the slightest hint of stealth gameplay, and a horror-adventure without horror (except for one case, and it wasn't scary or even spooky in the slightest) and any puzzles of any significance, for me, art and the general message are the only somewhat redeeming qualities of the game and, even if it wouldn't have been littered with bugs, it still would've been just alright in my book. There's definitely potential in the series, but I think you guys need to radically change your approach to puzzles and enemies. 6/10.

Very big review, thank you

Hey, pretty good game, I'm having a really good time but I found some bugs, also some spoilers to anyone reading, after I got the telescope I tried to talk to Ayako's friend (I think their name was Afae), and got a soft-lock, then after going to the menu and initializing chapter 4 again, the lines didn't attack me and the lock doors right next to a room with a key were transparent, like a could walk through them and I could not talk with anyone for a while, and finally in chapter five I while hitting some aliens I got another soft-lock but this time I couldn't fix it and have to refresh the whole page. Anyways, as I said I really enjoyed the game so I don't mind playing it again. Also sorry for my English and my bad memory.
