Yeah, you should totally be proud of this!
Y'know people talk a lot about show don't tell in story telling, and I feel like you built a nice bridge between that and characterization, because, yeah clay, narrated to themself in a very narration like way, but it was also solid characterization as it showed their thought process and humor.
I also appreciate the economy you make with you animation, like you avoid animating moving mouths by having conversations across rooms or behind masks and mustaches, and I think it works out in the lighter tone of the piece.
But back to show don't tell, you did great with the little details building up the world, like photo's in clay's hall, clay looking at the homeless person on the sidewalk, all the package designs and the picture of the gas station guy with his kids,especially when Clay's own dad was torn out of a photo?; all small but well placed.
Finally I like the weight of all the movement, while still cartoonish, each push and pull seems to have consistent internal logic and works.
One very small thing I noticed that broke the illusion for me is you had a really nice establishing shot in one of the bubble mirrors, and you reused it on a mirror over the drink machines, which would normally be ok, but in the scene where clay is lifted by the throat it's pretty close to the center of the shot, so it's more noticeable, and i think you could have made the image fuzzier it would have worked with minimal effort.

I enjoy this flick for all the differrent scenes and action scenes but also the unique character work and how well they are animated it was a nice touch on things, This is the one great one film of the day in my eyes ofcourse, Quite frankly this was pretty good I thought it was wonderfully presented, So you keep up the good work a nice entry of a submission you have presented I am looking forward to see what you make next time.
